FatBrain: Children’s Business Curriculum is part of an all-inclusive business program. Lessons from the curriculum can be applied to start any business, but the “application” of this program will be to start a coffee and tea business. In a way, it’s a one-stop, all inclusive, business program that offers great experiential learning with the avenue to an actual profit producing business.
Selling one-pound bags of very fresh and high quality coffee, children will be exposed to sales and marketing techniques, accounting skills, day-to-day business operations, and public relations while earning a monthly income and supporting a charity of their choice, if they choose.
My daughter sells 10 bags of coffee each month to the same family, friends and neighbors and profits $50.00 per month. As a parent, I am proud my daughter is empowered with the means for earning money. The value of “her” dollar is much more valuable then the dollar I give her.
The curriculum has seven scripted and easy-to-follow lessons that parents/teachers use with little or no preparation time. The lessons lead students step-by-step to starting a business. This book comes with accompanying in-fill worksheets/forms. In addition,our website allows students to order at wholesale one-pound bags of coffee or tea so they can actually start and run their own business and make money for themselves.
